WHAT IS EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an approach used to help clients process through trauma. EMDR is a research based approach that helps our bodies process through trauma while utilizing bilateral stimulation in order to let the body heal.
I incorporate my creativity into my EMDR work in order to help all different clients engage in this type of work. I use bilateral stimulation in many unique ways in order to fit treatment to each client that walks through my office doors.
Bilateral stimulation creates adaptive networks and help clients regulate their nervous system. There are so many different EMDR protocols, so that EMDR can be a fit that feels safe for all different types of clients.
I use EMDR with all ages so that clients can feel empowered to heal from their trauma.
